Yes the response was correct. If u call they will work with u on this issue. Wife gets refreshment package and all is good. I’m sure there are some who take advantage of it but I really appreciate it as carnival won’t offer that deal.

They have adjusted the combo price to offset no gratuity for Voom.  If your price for the combo is $55USD then when you add it the cart they will a service charge of 18% for a total of $64.90 USD

For your sailing it appears the Black Friday sale price is the same as the previous sale price.  Different sale, same price.  When Royal says "sale" it is always compared to onboard prices, not a sale on top of the last sale from a day/week/month ago.

I got some good deals,  but had to laugh at some of the sales.  We booked the Chill Island Cabana for 449 the day we booked the cruise a few months ago.  The sale for the cabana was 674.  My guess is that they have a few left,  and due to that fact they upped the price.
