Star Class/Suite Guest escort ends upstairs by an elevator.

No dedicated lines for porters or suite guests.

This is very discouraging news.  I had hoped that the poor Suites service would improve with the new terminal. Sorry to see that the same pathetic policies extended to the new terminal.  I despise sailing out of Miami for this reason.  Very unfortunate.

When it came to the Customs side they had so many lanes open. So the hold up there was just about nothing, maybe 5 minutes, getting off at 9am. Entering the upper floor of the terminal all suite guests go one way and everyone else the other.

Traffic overall flowed great inside the terminal.

Just stumbled on your blog while searching for info about Alina ? She’s our genie on Symphony sailing March 30. Hope you don’t mind a few questions....I’m nervous because there hasn’t been much communication and I’ve read that others have things all planned out by this point. She’s answered my questions (briefly) but I get the sense that she’d rather talk on board. Does that sound right? Did you like her? Anything I should know? We have no clue what we are doing and are traveling with 6 kids (17, 14, 12, 12, 10 and 9) Snacks will be key!!

Also, love the pictures of your suite. We will be in 8334, same one on the other side. Did you request the wine be there?  She only asked about our coke product preferences and if we wanted to be greeted with champagne or wine? Looks like you got more than just a greeting’s worth ??  Can’t wait!

Alina did keep our schedule silent until onboard and trust me I pushed hard to get it. It wasn't until the night before that I got even an idea.

We weren't really big snack people so nothing was delivered during the afternoon. At night it was mostly spur of the moment thoughts that she was able to work out. Nothing that wouldn't be already onboard.

Wine front, one bottle was from her. The other two were from Crown and Anchor.

Now Alina overall: First off she offered a more unique way of contact on board, had to say it worked great. Also thought her communication pre-cruise was adequate.

Still I'd push hard to get an idea of plans. Also speak up and mention any particular snack requests if it isn't something easy to obtain on a ship. I'd also suggest to read @Lovetocruise2002 blog from Harmony:

If anything isn't clear or other questions just ask.
