Is the Labadee lounger for two worth it?

I see that there is a lounger for two listed as a shore excursion for $49 each person. That seems a bit steep for $98 for two people to sit on the beach.

Just one person 'buys' it.  It comes with two loungers.  Sort of like the Voom 2 device plan, only one person buys it.  

They are standard loungers with a clamshell for some shade.  'Is it worth it?' is a personal decision.

So, for two people, it's $49?  I guess if both bought it, you'd end up with 4 loungers.

You can get loungers on Labadee for free.  Only the “special” loungers cost money.

I've been following this thread and it's raised a question for me. If one doesn't purchase these loungers or a cabana, are there free loungers with umbrellas located somewhere? My Mother has a history of skin cancer and will only sit on the beach if under an umbrella.

There are a "few" complimentary loungers with umbrellas but it's pretty slim pickings.
