Mark Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 MEYER WERFT now has the Quantum of the Seas "web cam" up and running. It's not a live cam, but a still posted about once a week. Web Cam 2 - Hall 6 http://www.meyerwerf...bcam/webcam.jsp Quote
Tylor Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 It is always interesting to me how you have a keel laying ceremony and then you expect the ship to start taking shape, but in reality they've been building parts of the ship for a while now and in a matter of months the whole basic structure is already put together. Mark Posted October 21, 2013 Author Report Posted October 21, 2013 So, my question is... is it the ship closer to the camera or farther away? Quote
Tylor Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 So, my question is... is it the ship closer to the camera or farther away? I believe Quantum of the Seas is farther away, so the ship the camera is actually pointing at. I don't know what is right next to the camera. That is a good question. Quote
Matt Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 So, my question is... is it the ship closer to the camera or farther away? Definitely the thing being built in the background. I assume ship in the foreground is the Norwegian Getaway since they are both in Hall 6 Quote
Mark Posted November 15, 2013 Author Report Posted November 15, 2013 Maybe I missed it, but does anyone know if the Quantum Class will have a promenade like the Freedom and Voyager Class? I was looking at the webcam last week and it didn't look like the center of the ship was open. Quote

Matt Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Starting to really look like a ship now. Now is when the exciting part of ship construction begins! Quote
bcarney Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Gosh, that photo looks like it's of the model of the ship instead of the real thing due to the lighting, etc. Quote
Matt Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Gosh, that photo looks like it's of the model of the ship instead of the real thing due to the lighting, etc. Agreed. I could be wrong but that looks like the tilt shift photo effect Bryce G. 1 Quote
