tawill
We are going on Liberty of the Seas in December. We like to run a small box fan at night. Is it possible to bring one with us for the room?
monctonguy
I am assuming you bring it for the white noise? If so, I can tell you that you probably wont need it as I find the "hum" from the AC or the ship is more than enough for a good nights sleep. If your brining it strictly for the fan effect..i am not sure...might depend on the size?
pamw
I'm not sure why you would need a fan as rooms have air con. If it's for other reasons you need to check with RC as not all electricals are allowed.

Pooch
Not sure why this question is crazy? I also like a small fan running while I sleep. For me, it is a function of being a woman of a certain age. I like both the hum and the feel of the air circulating. I think the AC will be sufficient to accomplish this but maybe not for everybody. Vacation Crazy
We sleep with a fan too. We always bring our small travel fan when we cruise. I can't sleep without the air movement and noise! It works great at blocking out all outside noise. We just got off the Harmony in August. Our room attendant said they have a supply of fans for staterooms but they go fast.
function12
We brought one last year and had no issues. We take one with us when ever we travel. It really helps block out the other noises (doors closing, A/C cycling on and off, people in the halls)
Pooch
Will keep that in mind when we embark & ask asap. If I find I don't need it, I will give it up to someone else. function12 - what do you bring?
Broons77
You're not crazy, I need a fan to sleep as well. We're going on Anthem next month and I was wondering if I'd have any issues bringing one with me. Thanks for asking the question!
L454S
Been bringing one of these for the last 3 years and dozen cruises. Get it at Wally World for $14, use it and give it to your cabin attendant when done. Always in the carry on bag.

It is around 10 inches. So, one less pair a shoes.

pcdawg
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HBL27Z6 This unit is USB powered and battery powered. You can also plug in a usb power bank to power it up if your usb cord is too short and cant reach an outlet. Very small, easy to hang or placed on table and very portable.
