New to Cruising Brandi
Will there be authentic Bahamian on the ship or CocoCay?
twangster
No cruise ship preparing food for thousands of guests can present true authentic local foods. There may be theme nights where the food is oriented towards a region but even then it isn't truly authentic. New to Cruising Brandi
Any suggestions for good Bahamian food near the port?
Marc Van Niekerk
Bahamian Cookin' Restaurant and Bar is a small place offering authentic local foods. We found out about it on the Tru Bahamian Food Tour. http://bahamiancookin.com/ https://www.trubahamianfoodtours.com/ I would highly recommend both the tour and the restaurant when in Nassau. KLA
I haven't been and have no actual experience on this, but maybe the "Fish Fry" area of Nassau (just past Junkanoo Beach) might have what you're looking for? As Matt said, TripAdvisor or Yelp would offer good recommendations on restaurants in this area.
monctonguy
I was there on my last visit in Jan....that seemed to to be the place to go..."Fish Fry"...there were restaurants that you could sit outside and eat or inside..some buiser than others......I don't eat seafood so cant say for sure but it seemed like that would be your best bet based on peoples reviews and suggestions.
