Brandis
Are Johnny Rockets milk shakes included in the Refreshment Package?
Adriana
I do not believe they are included. Pretty sure, in fact. However, you can get a smoothie elsewhere (not the same, I know).
Lovetocruise2002
In the past, they have not been. However, this past week on FB, there were some posts implying that now they are. So I can see where the confusion is coming from. I however, do not have an answer. I can find out in two weeks if no one else can confirm before that. Matt
Historically the answer has been no, but, Royal Caribbean has been adamant on Facebook recently that it is indeed included. yaya luvs to cruz, Lovetocruise2002 and DublinFC 1 1
jce2
If this is important to you I would recommend either carrying a copy of the above mentioned e-mail with you, or better yet write to RC yourself for clarification. Brandis
This gets better all the time! On the website about the beverage packages, only the Deluxe package mentions the milk shakes, then a customer service rep and in the Facebook chat, they say it is included in both the Deluxe and the Refreshment packages. Today, I received an e-mail from RCL Germany, Reservations Dept. saying: "Unfortunately, the milk shakes from Johnny Rocket's are not included in any beverage packages." Adriana
Oj jeez! I do hope they get it figured out and settled soon for those cruising soon! I also wonder if you could just go and order the milkshake, but not a meal.

Jason.H.
Anyone have an answer to this yet? I heard the milkshakes are included with the drink package but you had to eat at johnny rockets to order a milkshake.

BobNoxious
BUMP! Has anyone had recent experience getting a JR milkshake with the deluxe beverage package? Also, if you can just walk in and get one to go?
WAAAYTOOO
Yes. We got it on our Liberty cruise in Sept. as long as you order food, the milkshakes are included. SpeedNoodles and Matt 1

Vacation Crazy
We had the Deluxe drink package. We stopped in a couple of times throughout the week to get shakes to go. It was a nice bonus to the package. We always left a tip as well.

BermudaDice
Plenty other people have confirmed above but just to add my experience, I was on Allure in mid-Sept and I asked the question as I wasn't sure. Was told that it was included in the Deluxe package and you did not need to be eating at JR to get one. We proceeded to get one on the Deluxe package. They swipe the card and a 100% discount is applied to the price. JennyB

Sh2738
Glad to hear that people are having success at both getting the milkshakes free with the beverage packages and that you can just come in and get one without having to get any food. We wouldn't be interested in any of the food but I would love to get a milkshake.

Raye, don't quote me on this but I believe I read that if you sit in a booth you have to order something, my wife and I usually order FF and onion rings. This is the part I'm not positive of, if you sit at the bar you do not have to order any food to get the milkshake. This is for the diamond and diamond + perk, not even remotely sure on any of the beverage packages. WAAAYTOOO
Brandis
On Harmony, with the Refreshment and the Deluxe Drink Package, we were always asked to have a seat at the bar while they prepared our shakes and then we could either drink them there at the bar or take them with us, they were free either way. AshleyDillo
When I went Anthem was a la carte for food and you ordered at a register rather than get waited on, so a little different from the other Johnny Rockets. Sweety
I go to Johnny Rockets just to get the shakes. James lives for the Oreo shake. We buy one and get one free.
Brandis
Try the Malts, they're even more delicious. But I ask them to hold the whipped cream, that's just too much.
Macjeff
On anthem now and we just asked at Johnny Rockets and they said free with deluxe or refreshment but of course not soda. So we got a couple. Pretty good. My complaint is everything breaking on ship. Bionic bar been down most of week. They got one working but when it shakes the drink it throws liquid everywhere and people get wet with alcohol. I asked and they said they have to bring in mechanic. Also I am used to room attendants learning your name and making towel animals all the time. We have one animal and one other night he repaired the one from a few nights ago. So I guess you can say 1.5 towel animals. We saw him once or twice and only when we were in room when he came to clean. WAAAYTOOO
Not sure if I wrote about this in another thread or I did it here and it didn’t go through. Sorry if this is a duplicate. We just returned from NAV for a Thanksgiving Cruise. We both had the deluxe drinks pkg. When we went to JR to get our “complimentary” milkshakes they told us (after we had already ordered them, to go) that there would be a $5.95 ea charge. I told them “forget it” and the manager relented and gave them to us with no charge but he did reiterate that in order to get you complimentary milkshake, you must pay the cover charge. I guess the complimentary milkshake policy varies from ship to ship.
Brandis
Or they just weren't aware of the new option. I wonder what would have happened if they rang up the milk shake and the charged it to your card, if it just would have changed the bill amount to $0. Assuming the prices for the cash registers are centrally updated on land for all ships and then just uploaded to them.
