Matt
You should check the board near Guest Relations. There's often posted meetings for groups such as LGBT and others. ctk7
FloatMe
We were on Adventure in April, and there was a "friends of dorothy" meeting posted on the community board. ctk7

Galveston Steve
This is a little late for your cruise, ctk7, but others may benefit: On our two recent cruises, Brilliance and Liberty, the Cruise Compass has listed the following for most nights, usually at 9:30 pm or later: LGBT Community Mixer (self-led) or Informal LGBT Get-together. They usually take place in the lounge that used to be called the Viking Crown Lounge at the top of the ship. I'm not sure if RCI is doing this across the fleet on just on certain ships. rekkie
The friends of Dorothy things advertised on the community boards are usually crappy. We usually see if there are Facebook groups for the particular sailing and make friends with other LGBT couples prior to boarding. Cruise Criric is rubbish. Whoever had the idea of having an Internet forum where people can't actually send each other a private message obviously still has a rotary dial phone at home. The pool is also a good place to make friends, unsure why, but we've met many people in and around the pool area that we end up socialising with. WHStoneman
You should check the board near Guest Relations. There's often posted meetings for groups such as LGBT and others. Will this be posted for Freedom 01/07/17? Where is the the Guest Relations office?
DocLC
Aren't these in the Cruise Compass? I remember seeing a designated time/place in the past, but that may have been awhile ago.
Jerel
I think the bulletin board near gest services is more for people setting up a get-together outside of RCI functions.

Sanctioned/RCI organized events are int eh Cruise Compass, non-RCI organized events are on the bulletin board. I've seen this on Celebrity as well. While there are usually Friends of Dorothy meets, I recall seeing several other (potentially more widely attended) LGBTQ events on the bulletin board. I have a feeling they were better attended largely based on new ones being put up regularly. Will this be posted for Freedom 01/07/17? Where is the the Guest Relations office? I don't see why not. Definitely on the last 3 RCI (RCL/X) cruises I've been on. Guest Relations (or in days past, the Pursers Desk), is located on deck 5, starboard, just forward of the main dining room (which is all the way aft).
