dimysmith
Our last cruise, my husband and I did a couple massage. At the end, of course, they did their sales pitch on their products (don't buy, they are expensive). The discussion is there is an automatic 18% tip added on to the cost of the massage. I tipped more (not realizing the 18% had been added) Is that normal practice. We are headed on another cruise in 1/2019 and I wanted to be prepared this time. We are going to limit the excursions this time, because I just can't do them. Hopefully the Ship will have lots to do. (Harmony)
twangster
Yes, like buying a drink at a bar, 18% gratuity is added to a massage. Tipping extra, like at a bar, is at your discretion.
dimysmith
Thank you--since we don't drink alcohol, I didn't realize that was the case
