Junior Suite, Back to Back April 19th 2020, Western Carib. (Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel) and April 25th 2020, Southern Carib. (Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba). Embarking out of Ft. Lauderdale.

After all the favorable comments regarding the Adventure posted here, I said why not? Plus, this will be our first diamond cruise. Anyone else want to join us? The JS's are filling up fast!:27_sunglasses:

Ugh I wish we could!  We'll have our oldest graduating college that May, so we'll be busy with that.  We're planning on Ovation to Alaska in 2020.

Wish we could come along

So why not? I was surprised at how few JS cabins were available for a B2B this far out. Could have reserved a regular ocean view w/balcony as there were a lot. But, we are now going JS on all future cruises, we've become spoiled in our old age, or, at least I am! :27_sunglasses:

We are spoiled as well.  Just did our first and not last J.S. this past Feb.  Can`t beat the double points either.  We as well were also surprised at the fast pace as to which J.S. seem to  fill up when we booked our future cruises.   Congrats on Diamond and enjoy the cruises.

Of course, there is no way to know what is causing the JS to book so quickly but I have a hypothesis.

We generally prefer to travel in suites.  It's not an exclusive thing but we generally try and stay with suites.  Until the non-refundable suites policy was implemented, we always booked a GS or better with the knowledge that we could change it if we had to.  We can no longer do that.  So now, I book JS with the hope that once we know our plans are firm, we can upgrade to a full suite AND oftentimes can add a casino coupon which now have a much narrower application span.  I currently have 5 JS booked (all refundable) when I almost NEVER booked a JS in the past.

I have no idea if this is the case, but it is my explanation of why the JS have suddenly become so popular when, just a year ago, they were the least booked suite category.  I think it is due to the NRD policy and once they implement NRD fleet-wide, which is coming, without a doubt, the JS will go back to being the lower volume category that they used to be.

You could be onto something as this has been our strategy too the last year and a half.  The only exception was the SC suites because those disappear.  The rest are JS bookings for now.
