LadysSlipper
I am very excited to visit Labadee for the first time next March! I have already secured a beach bungalow (because I'm a super Type A planner like that) and am trying to figure out the earliest I can/should schedule the zipline excursion. The scheduled itinerary arrival time is 9:30. I've read that you want to get to your beach bungalow early in case you want to do any switching, and our family never has an issue with being ready to get off the ship as soon as we are able. SO, with that said, I'm trying to figure out how long it might take for us to get from ship to the beach bungalow. And then from the beach bungalow to the zipline meeting point. Where is the meeting point for the zipline? Is it closer to the ship? Basically, I'm trying to decide if we can make a 10 am time work or if we should book 10:30 to be on the safer side... (I suppose the only drawback to having to wait until 10:30 is that we could enjoy a labadoozie prior to the zipline :-P) Thanks!
Matt
The zip line meeting area is in the direction back to the ship. It's roughly halfway between your bungalows and the pier area.
FLGooner
I would allow at least an hour. Prior visits have shown even when I'm one of the first off, you still got to grab the tram, then walk down to the Bungalows, then get set up and say hi to your "main man for the day" (we give a nice tip up front and get drinks served to us as we lay in the sea all day). You then have to trek back to the zip line meeting area so trying to do all that in 30 minutes with be hectic.
