tonyfsu21
Has anyone received paperwork showing their tier level in the new program? Shouldn’t we receive some sort of welcome packet to roll out the new program? What is with these people? Who’s running the marketing? I only know my tier level because I busted through 3/4 of Royal caribbean’s Upper management in regards to a recent botched casino experience (stemming from none other then a Casino Royale issue).... With thousands of members spanning the globe do mean to tell me that nobody has received anything at all?
WAAAYTOOO
Nope. Nada. I am in the same "boat" as you, Tony. I know my tier level but only b/c I cruised recently. I haven't heard a PEEP from anyone on land. I can't believe that any division of Royal Caribbean International is run WORSE than their IT Dept. but the Casino Department just MIGHT be vying for that prestigious title. tonyfsu21
AGSLC5
I still have no clue what my tier level is. Every time I call I get the same answer that they don't know it or they are not fully finished rolling out the program. I then say how is it possible for the people on the ships to know the info and they claim they get the info from another source which makes NO SENSE. my next cruise is not far I will be on Mariner on 6/29 and again on 7/13 followed by Harmony on 7/21 (yes busy cruise summer for me lol) so I am hoping when I get on board magically the host will have my info but I agree with Tony I feel like we should be getting something in the mail or email. Also I asked about the friends and family perk as that is listed on there and again I was told they haven't rolled that part out yet nor have they sent out anyone's yearly comped cruise based on their tier level. Get it together Casino Royale it can't possibly be this difficult. tonyfsu21
WAAAYTOOO
I agree with you, Stephanie. It seems insane that they don't all have the same information. I will say, however, that you will probably get whatever information you need when you get on board. Dan and I were both able to get our tier levels from the casino hostess(es) on board and they seemed to have all of the information - the points count from the first qualifying period, etc. Not sure they will know about friends and family.... If it's true that the shoreside CR people don't have any information it's b/c the information has been withheld from them for whatever reason. SOMEbody has the information or it couldn't get out to the ships....so I find it hard to believe that nobody at CR customer service knows anything. So frustrating. I have been reading on CC and other sites that we are supposed to be getting an email by the end of May that will tell us about our free cruises. I won't hold my breath on that one since this program is now more than 2 years behind schedule. AGSLC5

I think I might of had enough points to qualify for "signature". If so then I don't want to buy the internet in advance because you are supposed to get it for free.. I know I absolutley qualify for at least prime so I know I will get the 5% which is the other thing I care about but it would be nice to know about the internet detail. Oh well I know on June 29th at least the mystery for me will be solved on what tier I am as I am sure your right my casino host will have the info ready for me. I also read what you read on cruise critic about them knowing more info by the end of may but like you I won't hold my breather either. WAAAYTOOO
I understand your concern. Why pay for internet if you will get it as a perk. I guess the good news is, it will only be a mystery this one time. After your next cruise, you will know for sure and then you will be able to plan accordingly from then forward. As you said, the most important thing to us is waiving the 5% fee with free drinks coming a close second. After that I don’t really care. tonyfsu21
We sail Allure in 12 days and I can’t wait to see if they get things correct. I’m already envisioning the conversation that will take place when I introduce myself to the casino host or hostess and they give me the run around. I will come prepared with all the back up emails detailing the issues from Enchantment. I really want to be positive here but I can’t help thinking this disorganized program will once again disappoint me. To be continued... If it will help with your anxiety, Tony, I will tell you that my experience on Allure last month was wonderful. Those ladies really had their stuff together and had answers for all of our questions. They had all of the details on our past points and our tier levels (which was all I was really worried about at the time). Things were smooth. I hope they are the same for you. tonyfsu21
CGTLH
I've now entered the world of confused... On Harmony and just got my card. Shows my C&A status plus what I'll assume casino tier. What has me confused is the level is one I've never seen mentioned, Choice. I would imagine it is in between Select and Prime (using USDA beef grading logic). Didn't see any letters, was booked with the Club Royale folks. WAAAYTOOO and tonyfsu21 1

jeanniebeanie
here's an email I just recd from Club Royale in response to mine asking about the Tier Level update: Thank you for contacting Royal Caribbean’s Club Royale! Unfortunately, you have been advised correctly. Club Royale is running behind schedule for the full release of our new program. The original release date was supposed to be March 31st of 2018. We are currently unsure of what the new release date will be. Rest assured we are only running behind schedule due to making sure the program does not have any discrepancies. The program has been released onboard, so the onboard hosts will be able to advise you of your tier level and benefits. Club Royale’s shore side agents are yet to be given the full detailed information, so we cannot advise of any information as of this time nor can we apply any tier level benefits, including complimentary cruises if you are eligible. A complete explanation of your benefits and program detail will be issued via email, later this year. Thank you for your patience! If we can be of further assistance please feel free to call and speak with one of our Club Royale agents toll-free at 1-888-561-2234. We are available from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday (EST). You may also reach us at ClubRoyale@rccl.com. Kind Regards, Julie V. MDJ
Just come across this forum and thread and this is all (exciting) news to me. Albeit a bit annoying. I disembarked Indi last weekend and the Casino host said nothing to me about a tier level. Wish I'd seen this before so I could have asked. What are the point requirements for the different levels? AGSLC5
I am Signature and spend on average on a 7 night cruise between 3k-5k... But sometimes I hit it big which helps. Last year on Allure I turned $500 into 10k in one night.. That cruise I was able to be in the casino non stop spending their money and racked up 8000 points which helped me in getting to signature. I then 3 months later got lucky and repeated this with 7000 points so really its luck. This year unless the Casino gods smile on me again I probably will only end up making Prime for next year.. I will see what happens. But my point is unless you spend about 4-6 hours a day and spend a significant amount of money you won't really get any good perks. The program is not set up for a casual gambler.

At the end of the week I walked away with 6k and a certificate for a free balcony cruise. So yes I did end up giving some back but I netted 5.5k plus the free balcony cruise so I was obviously quite happy with that. I happen to just be at a very HOT blackjack table that night and I think most of us walked away winning quite a bit and it was on night 1 so like I said for the rest of the week I got to play with the house's money. I mostly play black jack and for some reason I do much better on Oasis class ships. I don't know why but both my "Big Wins" have been on Oasis class ships. I had a bad experience on Enchantment (likely due to the casino host not being that skilled) so I monitored by tracking closely on my next cruise on Independence. 4 hours of craps at ~$100 roll (not including the odds bet) yielded 193 points. 1 hour of slots (casino doenst really have high limit machines) I earned over 970 points. Bottom line: play slots if you want to improve your loyalty standing. That said, if you are losing, I do believe the table tracking system allows the ability to for the pit boss to bump you up since they can easily track your buy-in and walking money. A) This is nuts that there is so big a discrepancy in points rewarded given the difference in play time and I assume average bet (although I'll grant you can burn through money at the slots about 20-50x faster than at your typical craps table). B) It's a serious testament to how freaking tight the slots are. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd just as soon dump my money overboard after the casino host counts the bills, or set fire to it in a rubbish bin, as play those slot machines. But I don't care about making that second tier, either, so I'll just play my $5 pass line with $5 odds, have my time in the casino last a hell of a lot longer, and also have some fun being social with everyone at the table.
