Cafe Select card

Recommended Posts

Am I the only coffee lover who is bitterly disappointed that the premium coffee you are entitled to on the card is only 1 shot strength? A Cappuccino in a cafe on land is  2 shots strength unless you ask for a single shot, this should be made clear when you purchase the card, not when you try your first order and told that 2 shots will be 2 coffees from your 15. You should not need to visit blog sites to find out exactly what you are buying , it should be absolutely clear at point of purchase.

FWIW, on Rhapsody of the Seas this past March the flyer did indicate the "1 espresso shot per hole punch"

I agree, but I find RC's site lacks a lot of info that I would consider important/helpful.

I agree that once on board the one shot policy is there in writing but NOT  when you purchase before the cruise. I actually contacted customer service before buying since it looked like unlimited coffee in the description, they did not mention the one shot rule!, simply that it was 15 drinks. Why not just say straight out 15 times 1 shot coffees? Job done , you make your own decisions and cannot complain!

On Adventurer, which has a Starbucks, they punched 1 hole for a small or medium (any drink) and only took 2 when asking for a large.. Venti or whatever silly name they call it. Considering a medium is what, $4?, then it can work out to be pretty good value.
