Suite perks on Voyager class ships

Recommended Posts

I've never sailed in a suite on non-Oasis/Quantum class ships but thinking about one...I was just wondering...

Is complimentary room service a suite perk on Voyager class just like Oasis class?  And does that include the full room service menu and dining room menus? or just the room service menu?

Luggage valet is not available in Miami?  Is that correct or has that changed?

According to our friend at RC, yes, we can order from MDR, actually was told I can from MDR etc on Grandeur? You have something up your sleeve don't you? ?

Yes, all GS and higher receive complimentary in-suite room service from the MDR during normal MDR operating hours.

I can't answer about Luggage Valet in Miami.  We cruised out of Miami in December of 16 and they did not offer it but things may have changed.  That was during the time when most ALL of the cruise ports had a lapse in the availability of LV.

I will warn you about the Concierge service in Miami.  Unless things have changed, the amenity of having your Concierge escort you off the ship is completely non-existent in Miami.  We had a lovely suite Concierge who was very helpful during the entire cruise...but when it came time for disembark, she escorted all of the suite guests down from the Concierge Lounge and dumped us at the end of the elevator ride to the tail end an ENORMOUS line going into the terminal to get to our luggage off of the carousel and heading in to Customs.  It seems that, at least back then, the Concierge was not permitted to leave the ship.  This was a Port of Miami rule and had nothing to do with the Concierge.  There was no special line for the Suite guests and it was a complete MESS.  The WORST disembark I have ever had from a Royal Caribbean ship. I'm HOPING that with the new terminal they will change all of this so that the Suites Concierge can take the suite guests all the way to a priority Customs line like they do at all other ports (at least, all other ports that I've cruised from).  I will NOT sail out of Miami until this process is fixed.

Thank you for the heads up.  It's ok, I already know that if I book something, it's not going to be the same as Royal Suite Class on Oasis/Quantum ships.  I probably wouldn't even book a suite on Voyager class but it's kind of last minute and it's either oceanview or suite...so you know where that leaves me ?

It works exactly the same.  You can order from MDR and/or room service menu and there is no charge.  I did this many times on Rhapsody & Navigator.
