pinchme
We are planning to purchase a coffee card for my mother-in-law for our Oasis sailing in June. Just wanted to check pricing. Do these go on sale pre-cruise? Or, are they higher priced on board?
whitsmom
I got one last summer for my Grandson; however, I don't remember if I got it on sale or not. It was a good deal anyway. You can always get it, then if it goes on sale, just cancel and repurchase it.
Matt
I want to say I've seen it on sale in the past, but not certain. At the very least, nothing you buy online is ever cheaper onboard.
KathyC
I've been watching the coffee card for two sailings, six months apart, for as long as each has appeared in my Cruise Planners and they have never changed in price. Not even during Black Friday sales when pretty much everything is on sale. PrincipalTinker
Bob_KY
Love the coffee card. My job in the morning is to get my wife a skinny vanilla latte and a poppy seed muffin for breakfast. As i recall on the Allure - the card is not valid at Starbucks.

DunkelBierJay
I found value with this card on Empress. I did not find value with it on Brilliance. Those are the two ships I used it on. Empress -- has an AMAZING coffee bar -- just awesome -- features all the regular drinks plus a great set of Cuban selections Brilliance -- Cafe Latitudes was just ok, and they really enforced the one punch per shot rule. Not the best value in my view. Upcoming sailing on Allure -- I am not going to bother...Royal's complimentary regular drip coffee is really good, and if you mix in the free soft serve ice cream from the Windjammer or the pool deck, you have a better drink in my opinion at no charge (I have done that on other ships) PrincipalTinker
Mack
On Radiance in March 2018, New Zealand cruise. (US)$39 for a 15 coffee card bought on board. A very good deal.
Ray
Been watching this past few months to buy for my wife, price hasnt changed even during sales but it still looks good value at the price it is
Suzanne
I usually get the beverage pkg with the sodas and coffee, but I'm not a big soda drinker. My husband usually ended up using it for Powerade. Now coffee is another story, I can drink it all day and still sleep like a baby. So our cruise next week, I bought the coffee card. Trish
Can you use the Cafe Card for (non-Starbucks) frappuccinos??
fonemanbob
Yes you can. Did it on Rhapsody in February. Like Matt said everything is cheaper on line. whitsmom
