Dock damage at Roatan

I don't think Royal is in a position to know themselves right now.  First they need to clear the debris then they need to start construction.  They had been planning to add onto the pier to allow more than one ship to tie up.  This will likely impact how that planned addition is implemented. Either way it's not in Royal's hand, it's the local port authority to determine the schedule.  

Construction equipment of the required nature isn't plentiful in the Caribbean.   This type of equipment is often booked out for months and years in advance.  They can bring it in from a far at a higher cost or live with a longer project plan.  All up to the port authority and how much the MSC insurance company fights the settlement.

Thanks for posting this. This keep getting talked about, but, no one has been showing the aftermath. Good to see that it's had fairly minimal impact to stops there.
