Diane.M
I will be traveling with 2 other couples. One is a smoker. Are there smoking areas on every deck? We are on the 7th deck. We will be on the symphony of the seas
tiny260
You can confirm when you get on board, but there should be smoking in the casino and 1 or 2 places on one of the upper decks. There is no smoking in the rooms or balcony if you have one. The number of places to smoke has been greatly reduced in the last few years. I have the feeling I may lose her to the casino.... RestingBird
RestingBird
The pool deck usually has a few tables with ash tray things on them, I'm assuming Symphony will have the same. Diane.M
monctonguy
The standard smoking areas on Royals ships are casino, and a section usually on starboard side pool deck, sky bar, and deck 5 near the entrance to the MDR. Now on Symphony, I cant be sure it will be the same. It will be mentioned in the cruise compass. It is pretty limited though which does of course lead to the smoking areas to be quite busy usually. Thank you! We will scope out the cruise compass. My sister did say she may quit before we go. Crossing my fingers but not holding my breath. LOL I support her either way. It does no good to nag. Matt
There are two primary smoking areas on each ship: one side of the pool deck and in the casino. Depending on the ship, there may be other areas. Diane.M

I actually stopped smoking with it TWICE. It was so easy the first time that I thought I could just be a "only smoke when I drink" smoker. That was folly, of course. So I did it again and the second time was permanent. ellcee and RestingBird 1
Diane.M
I will chat more with her. She had tried multiple times to quit. It has such a hold on her. Her only success was when she was very ill and was in a medically induced coma. She didn’t start smoking for 6 months when she recovered. Congratulations on your success!!! The cure is definitely not worth it in that case ! Glad she has recovered. Diane.M

We are were so lucky. She hates to call in sick to work so she didn’t go to hospital u until her appendix burst. She was septic. We almost lost her 6 times in the first 2 weeks. I’m so thankful I have her.
mk-ultra
Most RCI ships I've been on have 3 smoking areas. Pool deck starboard side aft, the casino itself, and the starboard side deck area just outside of the casino. Diane.M
