Does anyone have any photos of the AFT suites...either 8584 or 8084? I saw one youtube video but wanted to also get thoughts on suite perks....reserved seating, concierge lounge, etc? WAAAYTOOO Posted March 5, 2018 Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 I have not been in one of the Grandeur 2 BR suites but I have on the Freedom class. VERY nice. LOTS of room. Do you get a hot tub ? Some of them do (not sure about Grandeur). You will have reserved seating in the theater and a nice breakfast area, probably in Chops (on some ships it's in Giovanni's). Of course, you will have access to the Concierge Lounge which is up in the CVL. It's a pretty small area on Grandeur but still very nice. You will be able to order room service (no charge. Don't forget to tip) from the MDR menu as opposed to the limited room service menu and you will get escorted disembark from the ship. You will also be invited to a number of ship tours (usually galley, entertainment and bridge) which vary by ship. Access to the CL is 24 hours but it is only staffed during certain hours and it only has the free drinks and eats during the happy hour hours (4:30 - 7:30 or whatever it happens to be). I can't remember if you get free in-room movies or not. I think maybe you do. Maybe on Grandeur you get a DVD player. I just can't remember. Thank you for the information - it seems it is harder to find out information on the older ships because people aren't posting on facebook or here about certain suites or rooms. Very excited to sail on a smaller ship for the first time. Just got off Anthem and next we do Grandeur followed by Allure in September!
