Deluxe drinks package

Good morning to you all.

We have not cruised for several years (took time out to have kids) but now we are back (albeit a little rusty on how this all works).

We have booked with the delux drinks package which I understand, covers beverages up to $12. If you ask for a drink over this limit do you merely pay the difference or the full amount.

I’ve looked at the T&Cs but cannot find the answer.

Agreed. If the drink total is $18, you pay $6.

Also to keep in mind -- The deluxe drink package does not fully cover anything that comes in a souvenir cup or a hollowed out piece of fruit. For those items, you'll still only pay the difference above $12. But... for things like a Labadoozie or Coco Loco, you can bypass the souvenir cup entirely by purchasing the drink at the bar instead of getting it from the roaming staff when you're in Labadee or Coco Cay. Then you'll be fully covered and have no extra charge to pay.
