We are having some trouble sorting out something to do on Roatan. We'd really like to snorkel but are open to other ideas. What are your favorite things to do on Roatan? This is not through the cruise ship, but we used, Victor Bodden tour and loved them, did a whole island tour including a horse back ridding section. melski94 Posted February 22, 2018 Report Share Posted February 22, 2018 If you love to snorkel, then snorkel in Roatan...off a barrier reef and some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. We saw so many fish, both big and small. At one of the stops, my son spent the entire time chasing around a little squid. It is one of my family's top shore excursions. We used Roatan Eco Tours which has a single boat that takes about 12-15 passengers. The owner, Alessandro, is the Captain and he has someone who picks you up outside the pier gates. We snorkeled for a half day (2 stops which were both great). He dropped us off at a West End beach where you can eat and play at the beach for a while and then someone will take you back to the pier.
