Joe B
I know this is s dumb question and one that I believe I know the answer. Does RC allow you to bring back a case of water or bottles of soft drinks from a port you have stopped in?
F1guynz
I have purchased soft drink in our port visits and brought it back on the ship with no issues. I also usually bring a couple of 1.25 litre bottles when we initially board. I have never seen them confiscate it, but it is so cheap it wouldn’t matter if they did
DocLC
Officially, it's not allowed, but I've never been prevented from bringing it onboard either at embarkation or in port. Do carry it on, but don't volunteer that you're doing so unless asked about it.
Guest toodle68
Depends on the port.. I have seen water bottles thrown away and containers emptied. I believe officially, you are not supposed to bring any food or drink back onto the ship.
Pipedream
They were selling bottled water at the Cape Canaveral terminal last time we sailed on Freedom (2016). People were buying cases and carrying them on.
marymcpherson
Was on Jewel in January and we took water bottles off the ship and brought water bottles and pop bottles back on in our backpacks and no one ever said anything. Decided to try our luck buying a cheap bottle of rum in one of the ports and pouring it into the water bottles to take back on with us, fully prepared to have to throw it away, but again no one said anything. I think it really depends on who is monitoring it as you get back on ship.
