This is an unusual itinerary that skips PDCC & only has 2 port stops (St. Thomas, St. Maarten) but it’s a great price to check out Star.

*This is the Florida resident rate for an interior GTY, it’s like $100pp more for non-Florida which is still pretty cheap for Star.

Sadly I can’t get my wife to take off work for it. Hopefully someone can take advantage.

I cannot wait to retire and move to Florida in 12 years.

Careful what you wish for... being close to ports is definitely nice... some other stuff, not so much, lol.

I'm fine with the heavily discussed negatives (heat, humidity, hurricanes, etc).  My brother lives in Jupiter Farms but we think we want to be in the Tampa/St Pete area...hopefully Brightline stays afloat and gets that Tampa extension completed sometime in the next 12 years lol.

I didn't really have the weather in mind although I could definitely do without all of the above.

It wasn't really meant to be that serious of a comment. Every place has pros and cons.

Tampa has the worst traffic next to Miami and Jax

I’ll need a lottery win or generous benefactor for that but then I’m in!

For real, I don't know about "non-stop" but I'd like to go from 2-3 cruises a year to 7-8 thanks to the occasional last minute discounts Royal offers on top of Florida resident savings.

They’re not as common these days but obviously still exist. I still remember sneaking in a last minute 4N cruise on Indy in October a few years ago. For at least 6 straight weeks they started at $199pp.
