foxsg83 Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 We are due to go on the Allure of the Sea 6-Night Western Caribbean later this month. Does anyone who may have been on a 6-Night Caribbean cruise recently know if the 2nd formal night/ Lobster Night still takes place on night 5? I'm just thinking ahead about reserving shows and meal bookings etc. Any insight is much appreciated. Many thanks, Seán Quote

Many thanks, Seán From our experience, "lobster night" menu is only offered on seven night or longer Caribbean cruises even though there may be a second formal night. For this reason, we try our best to only take 7N or longer cruises, not for the lobster, but for the baked Alaska that is also offered on that menu It's my wife's favorite dessert and we did a 6N cruise once and had that terrible surprise. WesKinetic Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 I believe @Reigert2008 is correct that they largely don't offer it on cruises less than seven nights. We recently did a six night on Quantum and there was no lobster night. But YMMV. Reigert2008 1 Quote
smokeybandit Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 There's always lobster for an upcharge. Quote

Traveling Mike Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 I just got off a 6 day Cabo cruise and they did not have a Lobster Night. Quote
Lucky Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Can also confirm there was no lobster night on our 6-night Allure in December '25, except for Coastal Kitchen. RCIfan1912, Ogilthorpe and WAAAYTOOO 2 1 Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 On Oasis now on a 6 night. Can confirm that there are no MDR menus that serve lobster tail on this cruise. Can also confirm that the beef tenderloin once served on French night has become a strip steak. Pooch, Ryan79, Traveling Mike and 6 others 5 4 Quote

Reigert2008 Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 While disappointing for sure, i did a quick google search for "Beef Tenderloin shortage" and a bunch of articles about the price of beef being really high come up. I'd rather them swap it out than raise the price of the cruise. Maybe it will come back in the future. https://www.google.com/search?q=beef+tenderloin+shortage&oq=beef+tenderloin+shor&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgBEAAYgAQyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQABiABDIICAIQABgWGB4yCAgDEAAYFhgeMggIBBAAGBYYHjIICAUQABgWGB4yCAgGEAAYFhgeMggIBxAAGBYYHjIICAgQABgWGB4yCAgJEAAYFhge0gEINjk1OWowajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 WAYNO and Ogilthorpe 2 Quote

I'm surprised that people were more upset about the vegetables at Izumi than losing the tenderloin. SplashOfWater 1 Quote
