WAAAYTOOO Posted January 30, 2018 Report Share Posted January 30, 2018 This morning, when I checked the prices on my cruises, I noticed a new discount that I have never seen before. The Sky Loft (soon to be renamed Star Loft) on Harmony is showing a $1000 discount that they have called a "Star Savings". The sailing where I saw this is 17 Feb 2019 on Harmony. This is currently the only Star Class suite available for this sailing. As a rule, the Sky/Star Loft suites are priced slightly higher than the 2 BR Aqua Theater Suites but the price on the Sky Loft Suite is significantly lower than what we paid for the 2 BR ATS A1. Granted, the ATS that we have booked is a fully refundable deposit while the Sky Loft is non-refundable, but it still seems to be a good price ($13K for everything) on this suite, especially with the additional $1000 off. Thanks. I didn't see that information. I have Michelle looking at upgrading my April Allure to a Sky Loft. Hopefully between this discount and my casino rate it will be a reasonable upgrade. I told her to go ahead and upgrade me. Since the Club Royale office was already closed by then, she said she would take care of it this morning. If it's gone, it's gone. Of course, there are only 2 so I got the "other one". I wasn't even aware that they were both available but I'm glad they were ! I got the one on the ocean view side. I've never been in that one (was in the one that faces the basketball court before) so it will be interesting to see the difference. I think I would rather look at the ocean than the basketball court anyway ! So I'm very excited about getting the upgrade. For those who may be wondering if Club Royale is still giving casino rates for full suites, I can verify that as of today, they certainly still are. Not only was I able to take advantage of the $1000 "Star Savings" but I got a casino rate PLUS $100 OBC. Keep in mind that this room started out as a casino comped inside room and has gone through several iterations of upgrades, culminating in a Sky Loft Suite so that little coupon (actually, it was an email offer) has gone a LONG way. Did I mention that I have an AWESOME travel agent who made all of this happen at this incredible price ?? THANK YOU MICHELLE ! I honestly believe that I could not have gotten this great deal on my own. I give all of the credit to her. She is amazing. If you are a Club Royale member and want an agent who knows how to work with the casino, I cannot recommend her enough. I'm not sure why this is. Location and proximity to the Coastal Kitchen/Suite Lounge perhaps? The Loft suites seem to be more opulent ( I've not yet sailed in an ATS). I was told a few days ago when I booked for that same cruise that I should still call back and check even though no inventory shows. They said to track the rest of the suite prices and if i see those drop then chances are likely that the SC ones have dropped too, even though no inventory shows. That sailing is peculiar though. It is march break but the prices are very fair if not low for March break. That's why I grabbed it right away. There's no other dates that come close to that for SC for 4 people. I was doing some more looking on other categories for that same sailing and the prices are decent for a holiday sailing. So heads up for any others reading this.
