Kkwyb Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 Planning to head over to the RBC during our November cruise but I have a question about how the transport ferries work. I read that it’s all day access to and from RBC but was wondering if royal will give us a set time to board the ferry or are we free to choose what time we depart. I’m wanting to check out the Queen’s Stairs in the morning before heading to RBC and didn’t know if that would cause a problem. Any advice or info will be appreciated. Thanks ! Quote
wordell1 Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 There is no set time - you could certainly do that. Kkwyb 1 Quote
Matt Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 You can board anytime, so going to see the staircase is fine. Just keep in mind the only issue with your plan is it can be challenging to get enough seats together for your party if you arrive late. Before 11am should be fine, but wanted to toss that out there. I was back in the port by 8:00am. It's close, and it's not going to take a long time. Just keep in mind that the staircase and the area around it are currently undergoing a restoration, so it may or may not be fully open to walk. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
tonyfsu21 Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 Just be in the first block of people to board the ferries at ~9:30am and you will get any chairs you want. Do not look for the standard shore excursion tickets to be delivered to your stateroom because they are not used. The entry to the ferries is validated with your seapass card. KristiZ 1 Quote
