baltodave Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 We (3 couples plus a 1-yr-old baby) are taking a weekend Utopia cruise in August. For the day (Saturday) in Nassau, I feel the Royal Beach Club (RBC) is a bit pricey for what it is. I looked at "Resort for a Day" and their options are Margaritaville, British Colonial, RIU Palace, Baha Bay, Breezes, Warwick and Paradise Island Beach Club. Some are more and some are less than what we paid for RBC Anyone have any thoughts on these options? Quote
PhillyLady Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 We have often done Resort for a Day, and one time we chose the British Colonial because it was walkable to the pier, and I could easily go shopping in the area as well. Additionally husband may book an early AM scuba and then join me later at the resort for lunch. In the past, meals were often included in the resort pass, but that may not be the same anymore. We have also spent the day at Atlantis, but the price may be even higher. Nassau has some great snorkeling excursions as well. ScottD Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 We enjoyed Margaritaville...not far from port at all, has a small pool area for the little one, plus some slides and access to a private beach area. It's nice because you can go inside to cool down or get out of the sun if needed for a bit, as well. The only issue was food and drink are a little pricy, basically what you'd pay at an amusement park type place. Quote
