xaza Posted December 13, 2025 Report Posted December 13, 2025 I got an email this week about an itinerary change for my cruise in February. They are changing Cozumel port to Nassau. I find it quite alarming the way this is being done. I may be a little biased because our excursion booked in Cozumel was going to be an amazing snorkeling adventure. This is only our second cruise and on our first trip the port for our snorkeling got canceled due to weather. Ironically the only port we got off the ship on that cruise was Nassau. I understood the weather issue and was not bothered just decided to try again because we really enjoyed our cruise and the staff was beyond amazing. This time feels different though. This announcement was made within 90 days of cruise preventing canceling and rescheduling. Additionally it took a couple days before the itinerary was updated on the app to look into excursions for the new port. When they did update, the only excursions they are offering is for their new Beach Club. This feels like a money grab by the cruise. Making the best of the situation and just trying to find a little information from others familiar with Nassau. Looking at weather for Nassau at that time of year I am reading air temperatures around 70 and water temperatures around 50. Is that going to be a little cold for snorkeling? Never been snorkeling other than in a pool as a kid. Also live in a land locked state so not too familiar with being in the water. Any suggestions on reliable snorkeling excursion companies in Nassau? If not snorkeling, what are some good excursions you would recommend? Please include company name if you can. Quote

xaza Posted December 19, 2025 Author Report Posted December 19, 2025 Been counting down the days but there is just something extra when you get to check in for your cruise. Trying out the GTY option this time so waiting for cabin assignment. Quote
xaza Posted December 30, 2025 Author Report Posted December 30, 2025 Started looking for a 2027 cruise for 15th anniversary. Planning to book a suite but not really sure the difference in the suites and what extra amenities we get with each. Can someone fill me in? This on Voyager. Quote
xaza Posted January 14 Author Report Posted January 14 They updated and I now have options for excursions in Nassau other the RBC. One option is essentially same excursion we had booked for Cozumel. Quote
