Hi everyone. I have been Prime for a few years now but my wife is not much of a casino person. I've been considerinng playing with her card and get her to Prime so she gets offers as well. Is there really any benefit to this such as combining offers for a better cabin etc?

Sure.  If you are both Prime and want to combine your annual tier comp cruises, you can do that…and it would upgrade your comp from an interior to an oceanview.  …or you can each keep your own comp cruise and sail twice in interiors.

Is it worth the price of getting her to Prime ?  I guess it depends on how lucky you get !

Dan and I have combined offers (of all kinds…annual, instant and monthlies) many times.  It’s nice to have the option.

Thanks so much. I knew I had read you and Dan combine so I was hoping you'd respond. I average about 1.5k points per cruise and am in no danger of hitting signature so thought getting her to Prime makes more sense. Now that we live 30 min from PC, it is easier for us to take advantage of the CR offers.

Definitely go for it.  Best of luck !

I make myself prime and then my brother. Keep in mind that your offers are based on your play and the same will be for your wife. With that being said since I play more for me, my offers range from Interior, OV and balconies for two. While my brother only gets BOGOD offers, making them sort of hard to combine. That means if you cruise twice a year like I do, one of you may get better offers and the other sort of crap ones.

Yes.  My wife and I are Signature and Prime.  Once Signature is achieved , we boost the other to Prime.  Gets us Junior Suites at times.  Going forward , might just do Prime for both. You can get Oceanview and Balconies, although I have never done a interior or an ocean view all my cruise life.  It all depends on individuals bank roll and ability to recycle winnings for points.  Looking hard a roulette strategies too.
