Sea Squirrel Posted October 9, 2025 Report Posted October 9, 2025 Hi everyone. I have been Prime for a few years now but my wife is not much of a casino person. I've been considerinng playing with her card and get her to Prime so she gets offers as well. Is there really any benefit to this such as combining offers for a better cabin etc? Quote

If you are both Prime and want to combine your annual tier comp cruises, you can do that…and it would upgrade your comp from an interior to an oceanview. …or you can each keep your own comp cruise and sail twice in interiors. Is it worth the price of getting her to Prime ? I guess it depends on how lucky you get ! Dan and I have combined offers (of all kinds…annual, instant and monthlies) many times. It’s nice to have the option. Ogilthorpe, Sea Squirrel and The Fox 2 1 Quote
Sea Squirrel Posted October 10, 2025 Author Report Posted October 10, 2025 Thanks so much. I knew I had read you and Dan combine so I was hoping you'd respond. I average about 1.5k points per cruise and am in no danger of hitting signature so thought getting her to Prime makes more sense. Now that we live 30 min from PC, it is easier for us to take advantage of the CR offers. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

Ampurp85 Posted October 10, 2025 Report Posted October 10, 2025 I make myself prime and then my brother. Keep in mind that your offers are based on your play and the same will be for your wife. With that being said since I play more for me, my offers range from Interior, OV and balconies for two. While my brother only gets BOGOD offers, making them sort of hard to combine. That means if you cruise twice a year like I do, one of you may get better offers and the other sort of crap ones. Censored and DrStrangelove 2 Quote
Censored Posted October 11, 2025 Report Posted October 11, 2025 Yes. My wife and I are Signature and Prime. Once Signature is achieved , we boost the other to Prime. Gets us Junior Suites at times. Going forward , might just do Prime for both. You can get Oceanview and Balconies, although I have never done a interior or an ocean view all my cruise life. It all depends on individuals bank roll and ability to recycle winnings for points. Looking hard a roulette strategies too. Quote
LCWind Posted Sunday at 03:29 PM Report Posted Sunday at 03:29 PM Happy Sunday! Just finished a cruise and my wife and I each got an instant reward certificate. We are looking to book a cruise on Allure. For that particular sailing, her offer is Get one Buy one (GOBO) for an inside cabin while mine is GOBO for an ocean view balcony. Is it possible to combine both offers? If yes, in your experience, what cabin class would we end up getting to avoid the “buy one” component of the offer? Quote
Ampurp85 Posted Sunday at 09:57 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:57 PM Because its a bogod it will probably be just the highest offer and in your case the balcony. So you will be able to combine but you might not move up because usually you would qualify for a JS with an interior and balcony. But as usual with most things Royal related ymmv. WAAAYTOOO Posted Sunday at 10:18 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:18 PM They are funny about those BOGO offers. I have never successfully combined 2...but our offer codes have never been the same, either. So, I would say, if the offer codes are the same then they may allow you to combine them. Whether they will upgrade the offer to a higher category is anyone's guess. The best I've been able to do with combining BOGO offers was to get the $$ value from the lower offer added to the higher offer...but we never did it....it's just what was offered to us. We ended up using both coupons individually as the $$ value was useless. LCWind and Ogilthorpe 1 1 Quote
Tropix Posted Sunday at 10:43 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:43 PM I called on this a few weeks ago. Tried to combine 2 balcony b1g1d offers together for a jr suite. It combined for a balcony gty room for 2. Tried twice - got same answer. Combine the 2-fer offers to upgrade to the next room category. Bal + bal = jr suite WAAAYTOOO, Ogilthorpe and LCWind 1 2 Quote
LauraOzo Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM ok stupid question.... If you play with your spouses card, they need to be present right? I would worry about winning a jackpot on their card and them not present or does that not matter? Quote

You just give them your info. Quote

When I realized that Dan's card had been in the machine, I was very concerned....but they made it very easy. The tax form just went in my name and that was that. It so happened that Dan was nearby but that was just a coincidence. Ogilthorpe and Ampurp85 2 Quote
