I'm not justifying anyone's loud disruptive behaviour, I don't think it's appropriate to say that someone's excuse for being loud and having special needs is "trash" though, without knowing the full story. 

That's just my two cents

Harr travel replied and said someone had a special need and needed the others to speak louder unfortunately there conversation was focused on Disney and MSC and had nothing to do with Royal or the Lincoln  Supper Club.  For what it is worth, I lost my hearing in Afghansitan. What Harr Travel tried to use as a reason for Danny to be a distraction is absolutely uacceptabe.

I don't think I saw your (now deleted) post, but FWIW my dad is EXTREMELY hard of hearing. Even with his hearing aids our conversations are very loud and a distraction, I'm sure. Living under the proverbial rock is the alternative for him. I'm glad to be a part of the distraction if that's what it takes. It temporarily sucks for others. It ALWAYS sucks for him.

I've been on a cruise with Danny.  Saw him recording various segments.  He's very loud, intrusive and doesn't care what impact he has to anyone around him.  It's all about him capturing content so he can make money on YT.  I make a point of not watching his content.

I wasn't going to comment, but now I am....

I saw the original post. I have been following this thread since it started yesterday. I believed the original post right away. Do you know why? Because that exact same group was on the Icon inaugural and the behaviour was very similar in SL/CK. That's all I am going to say.

Danny and gang were in Playmakers or one of the bars on Star and one of the guests in their party was being loud and disruptive. OP complained on Harr Travel's website and the reason they gave was that one of the guests in Danny's party was a special needs.

if I recall correctly, it was actually worse than that... it was being loud and disruptive at $200/person specialty restaurant.

I actually think this explains it.  I have heard that restaurant gives you 8 cocktails with your dinner.  I'm not a drinker, so I would literally die if I consumed that much alcohol at one meal.  Honestly, no-one should be able to act normally after consuming that much alcohol in such a short time period.  I would go to that dinner with the expectation that people would be loud and disruptive.

Not sure why everyone is hating on Danny from Harr travels videos. There’s someone on another RC specific Vlog who can also be quite loud/pitchy and obnoxious at times but I still watch his videos too as I do Danny’s because they’re informative and I appreciate that they provide regular cruising content. Also not sure what good griping about it does here. 
Anyways, shameless plug for cruising w/ben and david, they’re not sponsored/paid by the cruise lines so their reviews and content is always honest and entertaining.

There are bloggers who quietly capture some content and then add a voice over later from the comfort of home. Minimal impact to anyone.

There are bloggers who must be on camera, in the shot, narrating in the moment, with a loud booming voice, who don't care if other guests are relaxing.  We are inconvenient to them.  We are ruining their shot.  That's Danny.

I would love to make money filming content... but I feel awkward enough just taking pics of my food at dinner, no way I could walk around with a camera, videoing myself or every inch of the ship on a daily basis.

This this right here. I do not for the life of me understand how people take video for YouTube. I feel awkward to the point I barely take pictures or I make sure is no one or extremely limited amount of people on the picture. Man I don't get it.

I would never want to be known as an "influencer" just because I make videos, which may or may not be accurate to how things really are.  Too many make content just to get clicks, with no regard to what's actually in the video.

Sure there are good ones, like a shameless plug for Matt or Chris.

But too many just want clicks without wanting to accurately inform.

I actually get recognized on most cruises because I am pretty active in the FB groups for them, and I kind of stick out. So I always have a few people asking me if I'm Scott from the FB group randomly on the ships... It's kind of fun, and my kid thinks its funny. I couldn't imagine being someone who actually does that as a living, though.

Does he have another youtube channel? Because almost all of his videos in his TA channel are ship cabin reviews.

It’s a good thing that the ships are gigantic and if someone is not to your taste, you can mozy on over to a different neighborhood. 
Personally, I am on the ships to have a good time and am not going to let a YouTuber filming content spoil my vacation.

They are sadly all slave to the algorithms these days….not even sure if anyone can make a video without the thumbnail being a picture with their hand over their mouth and some sort of half written mystery sentence about some terrible surprise. Clickbait at its finest

They actually were bad before the first drink was served. Also, it clearly states when you are booking that only parties of 2 or 4 are allowed to maintain the intamacy of the the environment (according to rccl website). But they made an exception for the influencers. The manager acknowledged it was a mistake.

Meh, maybe I would. Maybe I’d ask him politely to keep it down, maybe I’d ask staff to intervene. 
‘What I wouldn’t do is let it define/ruin my evening or vacation and I wouldn’t complain about it in a blog completely unrelated to that particular influencer. Just me though. You can do you @Sea Squirrel

How about you just not delete your original post so the rest of us don't have to guess what happened...?
