Just caught up, but enjoyed the Coles Notes version of your review in Instagram.

Congrats on the great upgrades along the way.  We put our RU bids in for November on the RS, UFS, and SLS.  I’ll have to watch for the notifications a few days before.

Glad to see that you are all feeling better too.  Never a fun feeling.

As for the wave, Justin is right.  A ship with 2 waves is the only way, unless the ship is a new one.  I have to “plug my nose”😉 for Icon, but we already have the wave booked for two private rentals and will also get the Star Class hour.  The sacrifices I make for Lisa. 😅

Looking forward to the next few days of your adventures to come.

We’ll def better make that a 2 flowrider ship then for hubby as he won’t get much time on Icon

It would not be lol

I think it’s the other way around. He is now going around saying he understands what you mean now, and also said he gets what you mean about the differences in the type of wave (sticky or whatever). #flowridersnobs 😉

I can’t remember what ship you are on in November. Is it SY again?

How was St. Kitts? I am venturing here for the first time next month. None of the excursions really call to us, so we plan to just walk the port.

That’s all we did…walk around the port. It has a bigger walking area than Crown Bay in St. Thomas. Both times we have been here, we have considered the scenic railway, which is always popular, but then decide against it. Hiking is also popular here if that’s your thing, but it’s certainly not mine 😂

We did the railway on one of our first trips to St. Kitts.  It was ok.  Not a particularly comfortable ride and WAAAYTOOO long.....but the scenery was really beautiful.  We also did some kind of a general area tour and I recall visiting a batik "factory" (really just a small business) which was interesting and I recall seeing a bunch of small, green monkeys, which I understand are NOT indigenous.  It's always beautiful there though...

We’ve only been there once. We took a private tour but I wouldn’t consider anything we saw as must-see. We ended at a black sand beach with a bar which was neat (the sand, not the bar) but it was still just a beach.

They were everywhere!

This is why we always end up deciding against it.

Hmmm no stroll over to Effy in St Thomas?

We did stroll there in St. Thomas and St. Kitts. Did not walk out with anything. I have so many pieces already. There is only one more I really want, it’s a treble clef pendant, but I have not come across it anywhere 😕

St. Kitts (and Nevis) is one of my favorite island(s). Our first stop there, we did an excursion that included stops at the Fairview Great House and the Brimstone Hill Fortress. Holy. Views. Assuming the weather is good, you can see everything from up there and it’s gorgeous (as long as you don’t mind the insane drive to the top). On our second stop there, we did a tour that included a stop at the overlook where the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea nearly meet; we then sailed to Nevis and stopped at the Alexander Hamilton house. I’m a history nerd so it was interesting to me, but I know not everyone’s cup of tea.

I am too. They are going to build more to his house.

I was pretty impressed with their thinking… and judging by the pool picture you posted when you were spying… err… checking on them, I don’t blame them. 🤣

They spun it quite nicely too…they said, “Wouldn’t you and Dad want more time together?” 🙄 Then they told us to stay away longer 😂

I walked by Next Cruise earlier on the way to Starbucks. Have not done anything yet. Basically, my situation is this. We are already booked on IC 7/18 and I am not willing to move that. I cannot tag anything after that because we need to get home to go to Iceland. So whatever I tag on has to be before that. I wanted Allure, but the dates do not line up. I pretty much opened my search to anything within Florida, willing to drive or take the bright line to get from one port to another, needs to have a flowrider, and dates have to get me back in time to get on IC 7/18. The best one I came up with was WN. But do I want to be on WN again? It will be our 4th time if I book it? Anyone with any other suggestions let me know before tomorrow 😉

She says like there's something wrong with that. 🤷‍♂️

I'm obviously the wrong person to ask so I'll leave it to others to come up with an alternative.

Personally as long as the ship is okay, WN definitely is, I don't care how many times I sail them. I was looking to sail out of port Liberty for my dance card and the option is........ Oasis. I will have been on her for 4 cruises this year and despite this, she is still in the running unless I decide not to sail port Liberty.

Plus I know you don't want to do any of the smaller classes, so WN might be the best way to get in another cruise.

There is also a sailing on Celebrity Reflection. Better pricing and I get way more in benefits. Downside, no C&A points, and hard sell to Hubby 🤔

Does Icon have 2 Flowriders? Because at least he will have tons of flowrider time after the 4n Celebrity Reflection.........and a savings in his wallet.

no C&A points,

This made me reread the loyalty match benefits. I didn’t realize that points can only be earned for thr cruise line being sailed on.  I assumed points would be earned/ matched on both.

...so there's a reason that you aren't considering Icon on 7-11 ?
