Cruise Certificates still valid?

Casino certificates have a variety of "rules" associated with them and they have changed over the years.  In general, however, a cruise (using a casino certificate) must be booked within 30 days of the date of issuance for a cruise that is no more than 1 year out.  I have heard of PLENTY of people who have been able to get these dates waived and I have heard of others for whom they would not waive the expirations.

There is really no way to know unless you call.  Unfortunately, these days you will only get to use either the casino certificate value OR a casino discount, not both.  If you are eligible to receive a casino rate, it is my experience that this rate is generally better than the value of a certificate so for us, the casino certificates are basically useless unless they are $1000 or more.

As I said, there are LOTS of rules.  Best advice is to call them and ask !  Can't hurt !

Good luck !
