New promo: Spend to Save challenge?

From the latest app update's release notes

 

With this release, we made VacayMarket, the Royal app marketplace, easier to access. We also fine-tuned routing from our mobile website into the app, enhanced the co-branded credit card hub, and launched the Spend to Save Challenge. We improved the app's speed and usability, and fixed bugs. Make sure you turn on auto-updates, so you can keep up with all the ways we improve the app.

 

Nowhere can I find anything in the app about it, but googling for it suggests this:

 

Spend to Save Challenge. Every eligible purchase for your upcoming  adventure earns you % back as a Future Cruise Credit! Terms & Conditions

 

But I can't get anywhere in the planner where I see any mention of it.

Doesn't the Royal branded credit card already provide cash back % for Royal purchases?  

When I see the phrase Future Cruise Credit I have a PTSD type response from the FCC chaos of the pandemic.

Yes.  The RC Visa card gives double points for Royal Caribbean purchases that can be used in a number of ways…including but not limited to, OBC.  If they’re now doubling that….woohoo !  …but that’s not what the advertisement says…

Hi, I cant seem to find any info on this promotion.

Is anyone able to confirm whether it is a "US and Canada customers only" promotion please?

At some stage I might even complain about all the extras you lovely people get that are not offered to us poor lowly peasants who happen to live on different continents

I got an email about the Spend to Save Challenge after my recent cruise. 

"You'll be getting a FCC based on the amount you spent with us during your vacation. We are currently tallying up your rewards. You will receive an email with your FCC within seven to ten business days."

I received the follow-up email with the FCC as well as got a notification from the RC app. The FCC is for $4.78 based on $95.56 of eligible purchases onboard. It also says 5% off my next sailing though too. I have no idea how any of it works though. /shrug.
