Pub preformers

Does anyone know how long the guitarist in the pubs stay on board? Or if anyone is going on the Utopia soon can ask when Stephen Burke will be getting off? I saw some of his videos on YouTube and he is good and hope he is still on there for the July 14th sailing.  Thanks

They each have individual contracts so it will depend on how long he, as an individual, signed up for. Since the details of his contract is personal information, Stephen himself would have to disclose that information just as your employer cannot disclose details of your employment to the general public.

We were on Brilliance over Thanksgiving and Nate Goodlet (the best performer and most talented guitarist in the fleet!!!) was playing until just a few weeks ago when the ship went over to Europe.  I followed him on Facebook, and he's going to Alaska soon (if he's not already there).  Here is the first half of his "winter tour".

We don’t normally spend time in the pub but I’ll try. I googled him after you mentioned it and found a clip of him doing acoustic Eminem. That was certainly a unique cover I’ve never heard on a cruise (or anywhere) before.

@LandstromCruise is on a Utopia B2B before I am (5/23-5/30) and should be live blogging. Maybe he’ll take a casino break & ask.

I'm almost paying as much attention to your countdown as mine, lol. Nothing better than a live blog of your exact ship/itinerary right before your own.

Have you tried running that 17N Utopia B2B2B2B2B by your wife again?

We saw Nate on Voyager and ended up hanging out at the pub most nights.  He's fantastic.

She is literally ready to kill me. Almost ever day I am getting new offerings in my casino account. They must really want some of their money back. Every time I tell her she says she’s quitting her job

Not sure how accurate the app is, but right now for my cruise it says the guitarist in the pub is Samuel Napier for my cruise next week

I saw that too (I stalk the app, hardcore, lol). But in the description it calls him "Stephen."

We have cruised many times with Stephen as the pub performer - he is fantastic!  He will be heading to Quantum starting July 7th so you're going to miss him by just a little bit.  Hopefully you can catch him another time.

Dang, that is a bummer, I’m sure they will get another good player in there.  Hopefully Kevin Philip takes his place. Saw him on the Symphony, he was so good. On the Quantum I had Carlo and he was really good too.

That's been our experience as well - most are very talented.  Stephen is just very unique the way he adds percussion to his performance .... he does so with his feet.  Just adds to the overall performance.  He's also very good at interacting with the crowd.  You can find him on instagram at stephenburkemusic and he usually posts what ship he is going to be on.  Enjoy your vacation on Utopia.
