twangster Posted May 13 Report Posted May 13 Cabin decor remains the same as does the decor in areas like elevator lobbies. The amplification in 2019 was pretty amazing. It focused on guests venues as opposed inside guests cabins. Caribbean pool, slides, Playmakers, PortSide BBQ etc. If you don't mind the cabins being pretty much the same as they have always been, Oasis is in great shape with many modern or current venues. Kayleigh Posted May 13 Report Posted May 13 I was just on Oasis in November and loved it! Yes, she does show her age (ie rust in some spots, paint chips, color fading), but overall she was in great shape!! As someone else said, decor in the rooms is dated. We loved Aqua 80 and the BBQ joint (extra money). The slides were in great shape, we rented a casita which was AMAZING, and everything was clean! Don't let age get you with this ship! asquared17 Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 we've sailed oasis more than any ship in the fleet; she is the OG for a reason!! absolutely OUTSTANDING crew; portside BBQ is delicious, and she has a lot of the public venue improvements as the new ships!! you'll have a blast!! ps: be mindful of outlets in the cabin as that was one space where we struggled a bit since there weren't USB ports embedded into fixtures.
