Hello. If I enroll for crown and anchor society, will I get my rewards for my upcoming 7 night cruise or a different future cruising? Also, will these benefits apply to just me or everyone in my family for our book? This is my first time sailing with Royal Caribbean and with the crown and anchor. Thanks for your help!

As long as your number is applied to your reservation at time point, you'll get credit for those points. But you'd get a number automatically created for you anyway (assuming you're American or Canadian)

Understand there are little to no benefits initially with your crown & anchor number.  Obviously they get better as you climb the points ladder but also only apply to you and not your travel party.

Points are posted a week or two AFTER you cruise. Your benefits can be linked to and enjoyed by a spouse and minor children, but your momma, uncle Henry and Cousin Sal are on their own.

Everyone on the cruise will get a Crown and Anchor number and receive points after the cruise.  Spouses receive the same (highest) Crown and Anchor category.  If one cruises more than the other they stay the same category.   The children receive their own points but their category will be what every their parents category is.  An example is if the parents cruise more than the kids and the kids only have enough points for Gold but the parents have Diamond they kids will be Diamond. When they turn 18 they will stay Diamond but they have to get enough points to move up to the next category.  I know this is confusing but the short is make sure you get your points after your cruise and keep cruising.

Thank you! So I don’t need to enroll now and will just be automatically enrolled after my cruise?

Yes if you are from the US or Canada. No if you are from anywhere else

only clarifying this as I am from the U.K. and realise there are a few folk on here who are in a similar position

your points and level will start from your second cruise UNLESS you are the new spouse or minor child of an existing C&A member.
in that case your individual points start with you but you are entitled to the level of the existing members level from the first day of your first cruise.
you need to go and speak to loyalty as soon as you get on so they do the necessary changes to your sea pass card.
and if the existing members level is higher than their points because they were originally a minor child of a frequent cruiser it’s that higher level that the new spouse / child gets

i have some very happy grandkids and in laws who are getting Emerald perks next May on their first cruise because my kids have that level through me but they have gold level points in their own right 😄

I don’t think your perks extend to your in laws?  Spouse & minor children only.

these are the spouses of my (now adult) children.

Because the kids have my level that I was at when they turned 18 their spouses and children get that level, even though my children do not have the points yet in their own right

I know this is correct because my newly married son has just done a cruise for his honeymoon (first one that has cruised since marrying) and his wife (my daughter in law) has got his emerald perks although he was only platinum points wise at the start of their cruise.

I had also asked about it from a loyalty adviser last year when thinking about booking my big birthday cruise.

And I am now diamond plus (as of Sunday 😁) so I am not saying the in-laws have my perks - its that they have their spouses perks
