mamabdw
It's been a while since this question has been asked...what's your favorite first drink on board during embarkation day?
Guest toodle68
Not the expected answer... but a flavored water drink in windjammer. After all that countdown, packing, travel, etc.. to finally be sat at a table in windjammer, it is the first moment that we relax.

UkuleleCruiser
We are a little limited in Texas because of the state liquor laws. The wife usually has champagne or a white wine. I usually go with a shot of whiskey. Nothing fancy. We simply must get down to the deadly serious business of fun. What?
twangster
When I have access to a suite lounge it's a glass of sparkling wine, otherwise often a beer. Champagne taste, beer budget.
Ray
As long as it's cold, alcoholic and in a glass it doesn't matter what it is :) RobWhatley
coneyraven
Because we like to get there early ...... We go for our standard "Breakfast Drink" Those that know me know exactly where I'm going with this ...... A "Bloody Maryland" --- although, on the last cruise, idiot me packed my Old Bay in my checked baggage. Mark RobWhatley
monctonguy
For me it is usually the frozen mojito.....or sometimes just a cold beer depending on how the night before went..lol. RestingBird

I go for a long island ice tea. The last couple cruises I tried to get a mojito but they never had the mint and would't make one. Took hours until any bar had it. Count me down for a margarita as my first beverage of choice! But top-shelf tequila, please; I'll happily pay whatever overage above the package limit it costs me. jce2
Alas, i don't think they can make a margarita on Liberty until they are 12 miles out. They do make something called a "Guava-rita". I'm just hoping I can get a Jack and Coke before we set sail
WAAAYTOOO
You haven't tasted a bad LIIT until you've had one made by the robot bartender. UGH. Worst drink I've ever tasted. That was our first and only trip to visit the robot bartender. mamabdw

In about an hour. Problem was the next day when I woke up still drunk and tasting gin residue. And then a few hours later when I was getting another variety of gin flavor, if you catch my drift. Although on Harmony I completely fell in love with the the Bellini at the Trellis bar.

Larry Muster
My drink of choice is Club Soda, Vodka and a splash of pineapple. Relatively low calorie but still refreshing. If you end up with "G" (currently assigned to the Sky Bar on Freedom), he calls it the "Larry". Jason.H.
mom2mybugs
I went with the Miami vice last time, followed by a lava flow. I wish I could rattle off a bunch of fun drinks to the bartender but I don't know any, did I fall back on these yummies. I will ask for kracken rum on freedom in March though! Thanks Matt! iluvwineandtravel
For me, it's usually a mojito, but on my last cruise in September, I had white wine with lunch in the windjammer.
Jason.H.
Usually a rum and coke for me. Sparkling wine for the wife. But a few times there have been waiters with trays of pina colada's right at the entrance of the ship. Impossible to pass up.
CGTLH
On Oasis my first goto drink has to be a Moscow Mule from the Champagne Bar (made with fresh ginger and lime juice). Next inline would be something that spent some time in a barrel. Pass on anything made from grapes. Fail safe, Absolut Vanilia and Coke Zero.
