Suite lounge drinks?

Did Royal change the suite lounge drink benefits?  Other suites I could order wine, beer, soda from 11-11.  I’m on Harmony now and the only “free” drinks are during happy hour (4:30 pm-7:30pm).  I was surprised when the suite lounge wanted to use my diamond drink to cover a glass of wine outside those hours.

Hmmm...interesting.  Have you spoken with one of the Concierges about this ?  It would be interesting to see if it's an official change and if it is occurring only on Harmony or if it is a fleet-wide change.  Frankly, I've been expecting this for some time...but until now I haven't known it to occur.

Symphony a month ago had 11-11 beer/wine/soft in the suite lounge.  However, I did have to remind the bartender one night.  I had used a diamond drink for a cocktail and then asked for a beer.  Bartender defaulted to "you are out of diamond vouchers do you want to use Mrs. Esq.'s?"  When I reminded him a beer should be included with the lounge drinks he paused for a second and apologized.  I do not think it was intentional, more just that they are on autopilot trying to get drinks processed as quickly as possible.

The concierges usually send an email to the reservation holder the day before or day of embarkation so maybe review that?

It did not mention the 11-11 on the email.  I was wondering if that was an oversight .  

I’ll ask the suite concierge today to see if this is a permanent change.

There have been several reports over the last few years that the 11-11 no longer appears in the email, but still exists on board.

I've only had access twice ever but this was the case for me in 2022 (Harmony) and 2023 (Wonder). If not for the forums I would have never known about it. I remember finding it very odd that it wasn't in the e-mail.

I have been on oasis (2022) wonder (2024) and it was 11-11. these hours are only on Oasis class ships. That being said whether for sky class or star Harmony has always been in my opinion the strictest ship in the fleet.

Just to confirm, I spoke with the Suite Concierge regarding the charge to my Diamond voucher. Beer, wine, water, and soft drinks are complimentary in the Suite Lounge from 11 AM to 11 PM, so they should not have been charged. The concierge acknowledged the mistake and mentioned that the bar staff rotates every two weeks, which may have led to the confusion. They assured me they would address it with the team.

The Suite Concierge reviewed my account and confirmed that my Diamond drinks were indeed charged in the Suite Lounge, for which they apologized. My husband suspects the bar staff may have processed the charge simply to generate a receipt and receive a tip.

Additionally, drinks (beer, wine, etc.) are not included at the Suite Pool Bar. I recall that on some ships (oasis and allure) they were included, but I could be mistaken.

Now we’ll see if the suite concierge has any real pull…I complained and asked to be put on a do not call list…just want the annoying sales calls to stop at 9 am.  I’m awake but my teen is not!

I recieved an email from concierge welcoming me to my cruise on symphony next week. It only said free drinks 5-8. And complimentary coffee and tea other hours. I'm staying in a crown loft suite and I thought it was wine, beer,soda from 11-11. So I didn't purchase deluxe beverage package.  Does anyone know if it is 11-11? Thank you

I thought the Crown Loft Suite was star class and that room included the deluxe drink package.

What ship?  Oasis and newer are typically 11-11 but the older ships are 5-8.

Agreed that there should be the complimentary 11-11 beer, wine, hard seltzer, soda, water, etc. In my limited Sky Class experience, the 11-11 drinks weren't in the welcome letter for some reason.

Not the crown loft but the star loft. Crown loft is sky class.

When we sailed on Symphony in January, we received the same info from the concierge about a week before our sailing. On the day of our sailing, we received another email from the concierge that included the following info:

 Bar service is available from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm in the Suite Lounge Deck 17 aft,  for  Beer, Wine, Soda & Water.
