Hello,

We’re visiting some European Ports that have excellent wines/liqueurs (and at a much cheaper cost than at home!) and we might be interested in bringing some home. I understand you check it in with security when you re-board from your port.

My question is, how much hassle is there getting it from security when the time comes to disembark?

Thanks in advance!

Stateroom attendant delivers it on the last night.

FYI: These are handy for transporting them home if you need to put them in checked luggage. We brought home a bottle of wine and a bottle of bourbon safely with them.

Just be mindful of the additional weight in your bags. I fairly recently witnessed a chap dump several bottles of wine in the bin at check-in because he was badly overweight! Given how cheaply you can buy even very good wine here, the excess baggage fees were going to cost him more than he paid for the wine!

I wrap mine in dirty clothes!!!

Chateau Fruit of the Loom 2024? 🤪

But I must confess tee shirts did an admirable job of protecting 3 bottles of Whatley Rum in our carry on one trip. I always tote spirits in the carry on in case we win the random CBP "follow me" lottery at disembarkation.
