Do treats (choc covered strawberries, cakes, cookies, etc) randomly appear   throughout the day? Perhaps a nice cheese tray?

In a7 day sailing they deliver a plate-typically some variety of mini cupcakes or some I cakes ( really mini).  I haven’t seen chocolate covered strawberries or cheese plates.  If you want a cheese plate go to windjammer buffet.  I believe they have cheese at both the lunch and the dinner buffet.

if you have access to the Crown lounge or suite lounge you might find chocolate covered strawberries one night.

The treats left in the cabin... I don't know all the when's or why's, but treats just appear.  A cheese sampler or fruit sampler with a chocolate strawberry is common.   On some cruises they appear multiple times, on others they appear only once.  Not much different than the casino wine left in the cabin.  We've received 4 bottles on some cruises, and on our last cruise we received just one.

I would also like to know about the Chef's Special, if it is in-fact different than the Chef's Choice Gift or Chef's Amenity.🤔

Recently came off Wonder. Got the Chef's Special/surprise? it did include a chocolate strawberry; a crispy treat-plain; a crispy treat - fruity flavor, a bonbon. & something like a peanut/choco square.

That's pretty much what's common on most ships

We've found the chocolate-covered strawberries to be extremely lackluster...they look FAR better than they taste.

Real chocolate, not American chocolate. For most Americans, that means they're not sweet enough.

Whatever strawberries are left over after using the good ones for serving that requires presentation. That means the less ripe or overripe berries.

Combine the two factors and lackluster is what you get.
