Whisperlas Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 First time cruiser here with a 12 year old taking a Bahamas cruise in July/Aug. Planning our Nassau day and looking for a chill beach day to let kiddo play in the water with rentable life vests/floaties, rent a chair and umbrella, build sand castles, etc - then a simple lunch. Showers would be a nice touch before heading back to the ship. Maybe a little exploring and shopping in there somewhere. I'm struggling to find something to fit this description. Any advice is very welcome! Baked Alaska 1 Quote
PPPJJ-GCVAB Posted February 11 Report Posted February 11 You might get some info by searching on YouTube. I did that and am now planning to check out Cabbage Beach in May. Doesn’t sound like it would be doable for you as I didn’t see any video mentioning showers or water things for this particular beach. Last May I did BahaMar with my daughter and grandsons and loved it. However it is quite expensive and if the weather turns out to be stormy and they close early (we lost almost 2 hours of play time) that expense feels even more expensive! loki007 Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 Don't know what ship you are on but after many trips to Nassau I think you would have a better time enjoying the pools and water slides on the ship while half the passengers are off, however there is a hotel 5 minutes from the pier (British Colonial) that offers day passes and has a pool and beach that would be easy and not too expensive. rjac Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 Check out Viator.com. We have used them before for Alaska and Greece. Quote
