Michelle Z
Does anyone know whether as opposed to purchasing VOOM per day, you can pay for blocks of time of the ship's computers?
Matt
That used to be an option, but I think the shortest option is now a 24 hour block of time.
twangster
On board other ships this year the computers on those ships presented the same options you have if you bring your own device. Minimum is 1 day. Once purchased you then have access for the next 24 hours. Buying it this way is expensive. Basic Surf is $19.99 purchased by the day. Surf and Stream is $27.99 purchased by the day. Voom is priced to motivate you to buy it for the whole cruise. You can save some money if you can wait and buy it mid cruise as the plans are prorated to reflect fewer days remaining in the cruise. If you have sailed with Royal before there are some Crown & Anchors discounts offered on board. The discounts increase with C&A status. twangster
Here is on board Voom brochure from Anthem. I'm assuming Explorer is the same but it is possible it might be different while outside of the North American region.
Matt
The pricing @twangster shared is pretty much the onboard price fleetwide.
