This will be my first time on a cruise over the actual Christmas holiday.  We will be on Harmony out of Galveston.  On our Faceook group for this cruise, someone mentioned that they often do a "Red Night" theme special for Christmas.  Can anyone confirm this based on past experiences over Christmas?

I don't have an answer, I have questions...

Like an extension of the Red Nightclub Experience they do in Studio B? Just wear red all day so you're ready for the club, sort of like tropical night?

I thought Red Night was a night club activity and nothing to do with dining.

Could be, it was just something mentioned in the Facebook group specific for the Christmas cruise.  Supposedly this person asked Royal about the theme nights for the trip and Royal responded with below image (they only posted an image of the response).  I am just trying to figure out if it is a true theme, or just for the club.  My wife likes to dress up for theme nights, so just trying to figure it out before she decides she needs a new dress or something.

May be a graphic of text that says 'Theme nights vary depending on itinerary, demographics, and length of cruise, and are at at the ship's discretion. However, the Harmony of the Seas has specific theme nights each sailing: 50s & 60s Rock n Roll, Latin Fiesta, Caribbean Party, and Totally Awesome 90s. As this is also a holiday sailing, guests will be encouraged to to dress in all red for a themed special red night party.'

Here is your excuse to get her a new red dress 😉

We were on HM last Christmas and did not have a red night theme.  From what was posted above, it looks like they swapped out Country and White night for 80s and Red.

In practice what do people wear onboard on Christmas Day? Pajamas.

Lots and lots of pajama wearing, even at dinner.

For the most part, people wear their normal cruise attire. But you'll see more PJs and matching CHristmas attire
