Nicci Posted January 26 Report Posted January 26 I just added some black heavy duty zipties to my travel bag, have those in the workshop. The decision to make them semi reclined is very weird, not to mention what is our own responsibility. What next, notices to remind us to get dressed before exiting the cabin. Or reminders to breathe. MaryCS62 Posted January 26 Report Posted January 26 well, earlier this month on odyssey, our JR suite didn't have any, so no issues for us WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
SPS Posted January 27 Report Posted January 27 Last week on Navigator, our balcony chair backs were zip-tied. Fortunately, the Navigator staff seemed to understand that the awkward "one notch down" position was not the way to go as our chairs were tied in the full upright position. Quote

GavinNeedham Posted April 29 Report Posted April 29 I am on Odyssey TA and my balcony chairs are zip tied to recline. Contacted my room steward, and deck supervisor who went and spoke to the safety officer and said there’s nothing they can do about it. I don’t even want my zip ties removed, I just want to be able to sit in my chair and read a book on the balcony. This is ridiculous and makes the balcony completely unusable. The warning about coffee being hot is because McDonalds used to serve the coffee hotter than they were supposed to because they thought people wouldn’t drink it right away. An elderly lady was parked in her car trying to drink the coffee, spilled, and got third degree burns on her legs and groin. She sued only for medical expenses, the jury awarded two days worth of coffee sales from McDonald’s. Quote
dmattinson Posted April 29 Report Posted April 29 Was on Voyager last week in a JS that had the two chairs ziptied but the lounger was free to go up and down. I don't care about the reclining option on the chairs but I honestly wanted it more upright and could not make it go to upright position. 1st world problems... Quote
