I know this has probably been asked a million times, and I apologize ahead of time for being repetitive. But am I imagining this site, or is it Trip Advisor? Any help would be appreciated. They offer essentially the same peace of mind as the cruise line. I've looked at many 3rd party excursions sites. The devil IS in the details. Make sure you read the "guarantee", call and ask questions. I discovered one that the "guarantee" was more like "we'll try and you'll get dinner and taxi to the airport but you need to make flight arrangements on your own". My take - they are well aware of the issue, but if a flat tire or accident happens, well... YMMV". Lot's of people do their own thing. I've done it and still do at some ports.
