Orient Bay Beach Club Recommendations

My husband and I are planning our February beach day to St. Maarten. We're planning to go on our own since the cruise ship excursions (two of them) only last 4 hours, 9:30 AM or 2:30 PM. We are in port from 8 AM to 6 PM.

We've narrowed our beach club choices down to Kontiki, Wai, and Coco (not the one at PDCC). Has anyone visited any of these three clubs? We're looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere, good food and drinks, and comfortable loungers.

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have been to Kontiki and it definitely meets your requirements (which are exactly the same as my requirements!).  I also think that any of the above would also meet them.  The beach clubs at Orient Beach in general are high end and are actually my favorite of anywhere in the Caribbean.

One tip is to make arrange with your taxi driver a pickup time for the way back.

We went to The Morgan Resort after seeing @Matt had spent a day there.  We loved it and went back a second time. It is not on the beach, tho the pool overlooks the water.  They have comfy loungers or cabanas you can rent, great food, service and drinks. It is just past Maho Beach and cabs will drop you at the resort directly.  The resort will call a cab for your return.  We reserved this through ResortPass.com.
