Luggage transfer to EWR

Hi, we'll be arriving at Cape Liberty port on Odyssey early on a Sunday morning.  Spending the day with our son in NYC and then will fly home out of EWR late that night.  Has anyone used a luggage transfer service from port to EWR?  Really don't want to carry bags around Manhattan and also don't want to make two trips to EWR.  Appreciate any suggestions/resources you have.  Thank you!

There are alot of reasonably priced luggage storage places in Manhattan that we have used in the past.  You can always look at that as an option.

For sure!  Manhattan storage is our backup plan, but hoping we can find a service that will take it from the ship to the airport.  Maybe an RC service offered.  Thanks!

Those are usually port dependent and I’ve only sailed in and out of a few that have offered it.  I’d message RC on Twitter (X) or Facebook and ask if the port you are sailing from offers port Valet like Seattle and Ft Everglades (the 2 ports I know who offer it). I find this gives you the best, researched answer.

The ship Valet services are great.  Have used it several times.  But only offered with some ports, and only certain airlines. And also not all ships.  You need to probably see if available at that port and the airline you are traveling on.   I know Delta is one airline that has allowed that service from ports. As I always fly Delta.  And Miami usually has it.   I do not think it has fully come back since Covid though.   And if I remember correctly you need to have a flight leaving airport between certain time frames.  If it is available you will get a flyer with the information in your cabin.  Or ask at Guest Services.  Good Luck

Yes we used the valet service in Seattle and it was wonderful!!  Haven't had any luck locating one for Cape Liberty yet but I'll keep searching.  Now that we're getting closer maybe some more services will pop up.  Thanks everyone!
