DisneyWorld30th
I have a dilemma. I am trying to pick out which Oasis class ship is the best for me and my family. Me - I have a form of muscular dystrophy where I have trouble climbing ladders. I am not handicapped nor in a wheelchair. I can do stairs, just not ladders. Family - Wife and 4 year old active twins. I have been on Oasis and Allure and enjoyed the solarium pool. I have been on many royal ships and enjoy all of the solarium pools as they typically have stairs to get into them. I would not be able to go into the pools with ladders only. I have been reading that the Harmony does not have a Solarium pool. Just some misters and hot tubs. However I know my kids would love the splash water bay playground which I believe is exclusive to Harmony. Which Oasis ship would you choose? DocLC
It sounds like you're leaning towards Harmony already and it sounds like a good fit for the kids. While you can't go wrong with any of them, Harmony will have all the latest bells and whistles.

Matt
I lean towards Harmony. The slides alone make it a great choice. And I think the lack of a pool in the Solarium is overrated. Hutcherl
Buzzard05
I don't remember if any of the pools on Harmony had stairs or just ladders (I am only recalling ladders...but I may have just missed stairs). However, I am almost positive that one of the pools had a lift to assist people in and out of the pool.
RestingBird
Don't the Oasis class have a "beach" pool that you can walk into with no stairs or ladders?

I saw it; however, I think it was just painted to look like sand (if my memory serves me right). I didn't get into that pool, I just walked past it. DisneyWorld30th
I think we'll just go with the Harmony. And if I need to cool off, I'll hang out at Spashwater Bay. Or try one of the pools with the ladders. Never understood why none of the cruise ships put stairs into their pools (with the exception of the RCCL Solarium Pools). It is the same across most cruise lines. Carnival, NCL, RCCL and Disney.

There is a ladder (two?). RestingBird
Herrick
Is there a walk in pool on Harmony. I was on the ship a couple of years ago. Can't remember

The older smaller NCL ships have a pool with stairs into them.
