pdurney
Where are the muster drills held on Oasis class ships?
SouthernYankee
Most stations are on Deck 5 in the Promenade. I think some are in some of the restaurants. Don't think any are on the outside decks.

They're based on your cabin location which will be noted on your Sea Pass and the back of your stateroom door. In will be a public, indoor venue, though. When we were onboard the Allure, we were assigned a lounge on Deck 3. pdurney
MikeK
Our room was on the hump on deck 11 and our muster station was right outside guest services Deck
WAAAYTOOO
Many of the muster stations for staterooms toward the aft of the ship are located in the Aqua Theater which is very convenient. Only problem is, it can be very hot out in the sun...but at least you're seated.
tiny260
I've been on 3 Oasis class ships and my muster has always been inside at one of the venues.
WAAAYTOOO
Yes, on the big ships they do not have the deck space to accommodate everyone (which is a bit of concern if you really think about it....) and so they will usually have locations inside or in the ATS. That is true, to a less extent, on the Liberty ships as well. I remember one of the muster stations being in the schooner bar which was wonderful ! We just stayed seated after the drill was completed and proceeded to have an adult beverage ! Usually not quite that nice, though.... BrianAlt
I had a muster station in the champagne bar on Oasis. And I had just been swimming and my suit was damp. I sat on one of those plush seats. I put down a couple of towels, but I still wouldn't want to have been the next person in that seat. Oops. Matt
Indoor muster drill stations are the best. Being able to sit down in air conditioning makes such a big difference, especially in summer months.

On our very first cruise (on the Brilliance), our muster station was also in the Schooner Bar. Every time since, we've been outside which can be OK on the shady side of the ship. On the sunny side in FL, not so much (even in winter)!
tiny260
In June of this year, we were on Liberty and had to stand outside on deck 4 on the running track for 20 minuets, it was still a manual process, had to show them our Sea Pass card, Oh yea and waiting on the people who thought it didn't pertain to them. Better safe than sorry...
Jason.H.
On allure a few years ago our muster station was in studio B. It was about 55 degrees in there lol. Luckily we were a few drinks in already so it was nice. Bob_KY

rjac
The Allure last year, muster was in the champagne bar. Got there early and started loading up the drink package card. Once they announced the commencement of the muster drill, the bar was closed until the drill was over. Serenade this year, outside on the deck. Made this mistake of carrying a drink with me. Had to put it down on the deck across from me behind a cabinet of some sorts and then they made me sit in the bad chair until the drill started. Buzzard05
We just got off Harmony and our muster station was in the Aqua Theatre...which in Ft. Lauderdale in late July/early August was HOT (over 95 degrees that day and zero breeze). However, depending on your number, you could be in the shade. We were G4, and it was not in the shade. Several people finally had enough and were leaving by the dozens when they went to show that "movie".
