Ellen
How long will Cats the musical be running on the Oasis of the Seas? It looks like it started in early 2015. Is it customary for these big shows to run longer than three years per ship? We are booked on Oasis in March of 2018 and were hoping to see something else. DocLC
Best guess would be a minimum of 5 years to recoup the cost of the production, perhaps longer if guest reviews are good. They also will likely require a dry dock to change out the sets and I'm not sure when Oasis is next slated for a dry dock.
Matt
The Broadway shows go for a number of years. The only exception was Mamma Mia on Quantum of the Seas, but RC's decision to move Quantum to China forced them to move show to ALlure DocLC
RestingBird
I have Oasis booked for 2019, and I'm the opposite, I really hope Cats is still offered.

RBRSKI
I personally think that "Cats" does not fit well with the vibe of the Oasis. At least, Mamma Mia, has music that gets you into a good mood and I think more age groups would like it better. Just my opinion whitsmom
DocLC
While Cats is not a very good production overall, I would pick Oasis because of Cats as it was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. In addition, I really like the iconic music. Sadly, though, many leave after the first act because the second act is far superior to the first. What is like to see is Starlight Express. It would compliment the ice shows quite well. ;)
